Guidelines for final, camera-ready papers

Preparation

Camera-ready papers shall have typically 10 pages, with minimum 8 pages long, maximum 12 pages long. Papers over 12 pages of length will not be included in the Conference Proceedings.

All authors are kindly asked to follow the Springer LNCS author formatting guidelines for the preparation of their manuscripts.

Users of MS Word

Production of the camera-ready paper will be a much smoother process if authors make use of the available MS Word template, which incorporates all the recommended formatting guidelines:

  • Template supporting MS Office 2007/2010 Word

Instructions for installing and using the author template are also available:

Users of LaTeX

Authors who wish to use LaTeX for the preparation of their manuscript should download the corresponding support file available by Springer and check the included readme.txt file for further instructions.

Users of Mac

Mac users could try Springer's word typing instructions.

They can also use the MS-Word 2003 support file provided by Springer. This zip file contains:

  • A pdf of the general guidelines for authors of computer science proceedings papers
  • A pdf of the instructions explaining how to work with the Word 2003 template
  • The Word 2003 template (.dot)

Submission

Authors of accepted papers are requested to submit their final, camera-ready papers, for inclusion in the conference proceedings, by Friday, 6 March 2015 (extended dealine ), via the Conference Management System (CMS):

  1. Final source files (MS Word in DOC or DOCX, or LaTeX, including figures) of their paper.
  2. Final PDF file corresponding exactly to the final sources.
  3. A scanned copy of a filled in and signed Springer Copyright Form as a PDF file. Modified forms are not acceptable. One author may sign on behalf of all of the other authors of a particular paper. Please note that the field "Volume Editor" should be left blank.
  4. The name and e-mail address of the contact co-author who will check the proof of their paper.

Important Note: According to the Registration Regulation for HCI International 2015 and the affiliated conferences, for paper presentation at the Conference and publication in the Proceedings, a unique registration of one (co-)author per paper is required by Friday, 6 March 2015 (extended dealine). Individuals may appear as co–authors in several papers / posters, but multiple registrations per author / participant and multiple submissions of single-authored papers / posters cannot be accepted.
